Inferno Diamonds is a flaming hot slot from Fugaso. It is a proper retro-style fruit slot with plenty of nostalgia - and the brand new Day 2 Day™ Jackpots feature.
Fugaso has been really busy in the past couple of months and we have seen loads of Christmas themed games such as Sugar Drop Xmas Edition and Lil Santa. But now the holiday season is officially over and it’s time to move on to other things: in this case the sizzling hot Diamond Inferno.
Inferno Diamonds: How It Works?
The backdrop of this game is a massive slot machine that features a 5x3 game grid. This immediately sets the tone of the game - but despite the old school design the Inferno Diamonds has quite a lot of tricks in its sleeve.
The game features 20 fixed paylines and wins are paid from left to right as usual. The minimum bet is set at $0,20 and the maximum bet is $100.
Inferno Diamonds has seven different basic symbols: the low-paying one being various fruits and the medium-paying ones being 7, Star and BAR. Inferno Diamonds also has a WILD and Scatter symbol that are the most valuable ones. The maximum win is 1,500x your bet size. So if you are playing with the maximum bet, it would mean a $150,000 mega win.
Inferno Diamonds RTP (Return-to-Player) and Volatility
Inferno Diamonds comes with a pretty standard Fugaso RTP: 96,5%. We always prefer slots where the return to player percentage is closer to 97% than 96% - and Inferno Diamonds falls nicely in the middle.
The game is a medium volatility slot. But during our testing we were slightly disappointed at the rate of which wins occurred - it is not exact science but at some point we started to get bored with the game which is never a good sign.
The main attraction at Inferno Diamonds is definitely the Day 2 Day™ Jackpots feature. It comes with three progressive jackpots: maxi, midi and mini - with the first one being the biggest of course. From each bet 2% is contributed towards the mini jackpot, 1,5% towards the midi and 1% towards the maxi jackpot.
There is no specific function, symbol or bonus game that activates the jackpot. So any random spin might be the one that explodes one of the three jackpots.
There are two different special symbols in this game. The WILD substitutes for any other symbol and the paying scatters come with multiplied wins. So there is no special bonus game or free spins in this slot.
There are multiple good things about the Inferno Diamonds. It is definitely a nostalgic slot that takes you back to the good old days when slot machines still had levers that you could pull. Here are some things that we liked:
- Solid RTP of 96,5%
- Day 2 Day™ Jackpots with progressive jackpots
- Paying Scatters
But since there are no bonus games or free spins and even the jackpot is decided at random, the game really was not that exciting. If you like taking it easy and enjoy a slow-paced game than this is the perfect choice for you. But it you get bored easily, it might not be for you.
